Ambassador Marius Grinius is the permanent representative of Canada to the United Nations office in Geneva. He has served as ambassador to the Republic of Korea from 2004-2007 and was accredited to the DPRK during that time. He was in Toronto last week and members of the NKRG got the chance to attend his seminar and sit down for dinner with him afterwards. |

The DPRK or North Korea is an enigma to many of us here in Canada. Most of us have heard about their nuclear capabilities and perhaps some of their humanitarian concerns. However it is a fact that there is a significant lack of scholarly information available on the region. |
