Both undergraduates and graduates are welcome to apply, but given the academic nature of the position, NKRG encourages graduate students to consider the position. The Director of Research should have a working knowledge of research methodology as well as a general knowledge of North Korean activities and background.

NKRG Advisory Board Member, Professor Gregory Chin was interviewed on the Cory Kolt Radio Show on News Talk 650 CKOM (Regina), on May 27, 2009 on the increased tensions in the Korean Peninsula. The discussion focused on whether the international community should be worried; whether we can expect a second Korean War; and whether the new United States presidential administration is prepared for the confrontation with North Korea and has an appropriate DPRK strategy. |
